Bachelor of Science in Criminology
This program provides a wide opportunity for public service in the fields of law enforcement, corrections, youth welfare, security and the other fields of criminal justice. It prepares the individual for careers as police officer, correctional officer (institutional and non-institutional), youth welfare officer and security officer (government and private).
GOALS OF THE PROGRAM
VISION
The School of Criminology envisioned to produce graduates who will lead the nation in addressing the vital problems in Public Safety Services, complimenting the manpower requirements of the PNP, BFP, BJMP and other civil security agencies and prepare our graduates to meet global demand of peace keepers in this time of information technology age.
MISSION
To provide the community with professionally competent and morally upright graduates who will deliver efficient services in the field of Criminology as well as in Public Safety Services.
GOAL
In pursuance of the above-stated mission, the School plans and implement an integrated progressive approach of study, utilizing lecture, discussion, demonstration, laboratory practice, simulation individual learning and on-the-job training, toward the attainment of the following objectives.
